The IUI pregnancies are no more high risk pregnancies than other normal pregnancies through regular sex.

However the risk of the pregnancies with IUI can be high risk when it comes to triplets, twins etc but if it's just one baby that you get pregnant with then you have a low risk or the same risk of having a baby through the normal way.

When using the IUI method the doctors have said that you can usually choose the gender of the baby.

However there's no guarantee that you would get the gender of baby that you wanted.

So you might choose the girl gender and come out with a boy or choose the boy gender and come out with a girl.

Most IUI or artificial insemination's are successful on the first try.

But sometimes it can take a few tries before the artificial insemination is successful and you become pregnant.

My sister used IUI or artificial insemination and got pregnant on her first try of using the IUI method.

Yes you can do artificial insemination at home.

Most artificial insemination's are done by a medical professional which is much better than doing the artificial insemination at home.

However you can ask the doctor about a home artificial insemination kit which they can get you.

Then you introduce the mans sperm into your vagina through the use of the artificial insemination home kit.

My sister used an artificial insemination kit at home to get pregnant because her husband just didn't like to have sex.

So he still got his sperm into her through the artificial insemination.

He's a great husband to her and a great dad to the kids that they have produced through artificial insemination.

However there's still not guarantee of getting pregnant even with artificial insemination but it can work.

IUI pregnancies are just as safe as other pregnancies but if you're pregnant with twins, or pregnant with more than one baby then in some cases the IUI may make the IUI a bit more risky.
