Florida Panthers do not attack humans unless they are threatened by the human or you get way too close to them.
However most Florida Panthers as well as other Panthers usually avoid humans at all costs.
Florida Panthers and other Panthers do their best to actually avoid humans and will usually take off and get away from the humans instead of trying to attack them.
I've been around Florida Panthers and other Panthers many times and they've always kept their distance from me.
The Panther would just look at me for about 2 or 3 minutes and then turn around and walk off.
So unless you do something to the Florida Panther or any other Panther you don't need to worry about getting attacked by them.
I've been camping where panthers were roaming around and they never came up to me or my tent.
