Diapered much older kids?

Have you noticed any older kids wearing diapers in public?

I saw an 8 year old boy wearing a diaper in the grocery store the other day and he was wearing Pampers size 7 cruisers diapers.

The diaper was sticking out of the waistband of his shorts and I could clearly see it was a Pampers diaper and also they went down the diaper aisle where he helped put a new box of Pampers Cruisers size 7 diapers in the shopping cart.

Clearly the diapers were for him and he didn't look like he had any health issues although I guess he may have been incontinent.

He seemed very happy to be wearing the diaper and didn't care if the diaper showed and he seemed happy when he helped his mom grab the box of pampers and put them in the shopping cart.

Some older kids need to wear diapers because of Urinary Incontinence or even bowel incontinence and you may not even know the kid would have those health issues.

Some kids are perfectly normal in other ways but then they have issues with their bladder or bowels and if the Pampers size 7 diapers fit the 8 year old then it's fine for him to wear them.

There's no age limit on wearing diapers although a kid should be potty trained by age 4 to 5 at the latest.

Also some people suffer from autism even though they may be high functioning autism and the kid may seem normal in other ways but then the kid may have trouble with potty training.

Also if the kid just wants to wear the diaper and is happy then there's nothing wrong with that either.

I would rather my kid at 8 years old or older be wearing diapers and being happy than to have them in depression or doing something else bad.

I have seen some older kids out in public wearing diapers.

I think all kids should wear diapers and even adults.

This is nothing special. We have an older boy ourselves who still wears diapers and know several parents with older kids in diapers.

Our boy tries to hide his diaper as much as possible but as you described there are sometimes situations where you can tell he is diapered. So that the diapers do not peek out of the top of his pants, he often wears a onesie. But if the diaper is very full, you can sometimes see the bulk. And we know our boy so well that we also see it in the way he walks.
