A child taking off his or her diaper is sometimes a sign of the child being ready to potty train.
However just because a child is taking off their diaper it does not mean the child is actually ready to potty train or even interested in potty training.
Some toddlers take their diapers off just because they can and they still may not want to use the toilet and will continue to pee or poop their pants without the diaper.
If the child is around 2 years old and taking their diaper off then it would be good to introduce them to the potty but don't force the issue.
Some kids are not ready to use the toilet until 3 to 4 years of age which is okay and normal.
If the toddler or child is taking their diaper off but won't use the toilet then you can put packing tape or duct tape around their diaper to keep them from removing the tabs.
Also put a pair of pajamas on them such as footy pajamas and put them on backwards and use a safety pin in the zipper to help keep the pajamas on.
