Some ducks can be potty trained but not all of them.

My neighbor has a few ducks and she has potty trained them and they come in her house for awhile and then when they need to potty they will hold it and go towards the door and want outside and then go potty.

It can be hard to potty train a duck but for some ducks it's possible.

My neighbors ducks love to eat scrambled eggs the most and they give them protein which is a good thing.

Some other things that ducks like to eat are duck feed, bread, dried and live mealworms, earthworms, slugs, crickets, feeder fish, minnows, cooked fish, raw fish, lobster and shrimp.

Also ducks can eventually learn their names just like dogs can learn their names.

For example my neighbor has a few ducks and when I call one of their names only one of them comes but if I call the other one by it's name it will come to me.

So by that I can say that ducks to learn their names.

When keeping ducks as pets a pond is recommended as the ducks will be much more happy.

However you can use a plastic kid swimming pool for the ducks to swim in.

The ducks can swim in it and be happy.

My neighbor has ducks and she has a small swimming pool that she installed in the ground as a small pond for them.

She uses a sump pump to drain the water out of it and clean it and then puts fresh water in it.

We live kind of rural and she only has a few ducks as pets.

But she plans to put in a bigger pond in a few years.

You can have a pond dug out if you don't have one.
