The frequency that a child urinates depends on the age of the child and how much they drink.
A 1 year old may urinate every 20 to 30 minutes or may go an hour without needing to urinate.
A 2 or 3 year old can go around 2 hours to 3 hours without needing to urinate and a 5 year or or 6 year old child may go 3 and sometimes 4 hours without needing to urinate.
A 5 or 6, 7 and 8 year old or older can usually go longer without urinating or peeing than a 2 or 3 or 4 year old can because as the child grows the bigger the child's bladder gets.
But some children no matter the age urinate every 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
As long as you child urinates every 2 to 4 hours they are likely hydrated enough and are healthy.
Some kids pee more often than other kids.
