Yes Walmart Stores do take used oil for recycling.
Just stop by the auto repair part of Walmart and drop off the oil on the side of the their shop which is where they told me to drop it off.
There's no need to really tell them about it because they will find it and then put it in the proper place for recycling.
If you can't find a good place to drop off the used oil at Walmart then ask someone in the auto repair part of Walmart and they can let you know where to drop off the old oil.
Walmart here will also take used oil filters for recycling.
Also some auto parts stores and auto shops that repair vehicles and change oil may take the used oil and oil filters for recycling.
Places such as Advance Auto, AutoZone, O'Reilly Auto parts will take used oil for recycling.
