The word or saying pandemonium means wild and noisy disorder or confusion; uproar.

Pandemonium the word was coined by and comes from John Milton in "Paradise Lost," Pandæmonium, from Ancient Greek πᾶν (pân, “all”) (equivalent to English pan-) + Late Latin daemonium (“evil spirit, demon”), from Ancient Greek δαίμων (daímōn, “deity”)

It's basically an Ancient Greek saying which means disorder, uproar, confusion and wild disorder.

So if you are doing something or something is causing a wild disorder, disorder or uproar then that would be pandemonium.

Or a protest going on that gets wild then that would also be pandemonium.
