Bears live on average of between 15 to 25 years out in the wild.
However the actual lifespan of the bear depends on the type of bear but most bears live between 15 to 20 years while some types of bears can live 25 years.
For example a Giant panda lives on average of 20 years while a black bear or brown bear may only live 15 years.
Some bears die before they live out their lifespan due to being killed or hunted.
Bears in captivity typically live a healthier and longer life than those bears in the wild but then again some bears in the wild may live longer as long as they are not killed or hunted by humans or other animals.
