Yes blinds do add value to your home.

When you install blinds or other nice looking window coverings the home value goes up and it makes the house look much better.

Adding blinds and window coverings to a home make the home easier to sell as well and homes with blinds usually go for a much higher price and the home usually sells faster too.

Also adding things such as crown molding, baseboards etc if your house has none can increase the value of the home.

Or if you have an older looking outdated kitchen you should consider upgrading the kitchen with new flooring, cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet etc.

When a home looks very nice and modern the house will usually sell at a higher price and will usually sell faster.

Blinds are a commonly used item in the home. They are an important part of the décor that we have to live with. But do they add value?

The answer is no. Blinds do not make our life more convenient or easier, but they do change our perception of reality. We think that blinds are a necessity and we need them in order to see how things look, but blinds don't actually make our lives easier at all. They just make us feel better about ourselves and our surroundings by giving us a false sense of security.
