If you have the money to replace all 4 shocks at the same time then yes you should replace all 4 shocks on your vehicle at the same time.

Both rear and front shocks should be replaced because the front shocks can cause your tires to wear unevenly and your front shocks are likely gonna go bad soon anyway.

If your vehicle has over 150,000 miles on it and you have not replaced your shocks and one set of the shocks are bad then you should replace all four shocks.

If your shocks are bad you'll usually hear a clunking noise when going over bumps and you will have a bumpy and uncomfortable ride.

Driving with broken shocks is okay if you need to drive with the bad or broken shocks.

However when your shocks on your vehicle are bad or broken then the ride will be bouncy and uncomfortable and your tires such as your front tires may wear out unevenly.

If your shocks completely break or are completely broken then it may cause your car or vehicle to bottom out or lose control.

I would recommend getting new shocks if you can afford too.

You can buy a set of shocks online for around $100.00 to $80.00 for all four shocks and it's pretty easy to replace shocks.

But if you need to pay someone to replace the shocks it may cost you around $100.00 to $300.00 in labor charges.
