Once you file a dispute with your credit card company or bank on a purchase the bank or credit card company has up to 90 days to solve the dispute and get your money back.
It all depends on the workload of the credit card company and bank and how significant the amount was for the dispute.
If the amount was a little bit of money then the dispute may go through quickly and your money returned to your bank account or credit card.
But if the amount of the transaction is over $100.00 then it could take awhile for the money to be returned to you.
The company who you paid for something with your credit card or debit card also has the right to dispute the charge back.
Then the bank or credit card company has to see and decide if you really will get your money back or should get your money back.
Not all charge backs on credit cards or debit cards will result in a return of your money.
You have to dispute it and the company will then likely dispute it as well before you get your money back.
I've had it take 30 days and as long as 90 days before I had money returned to my credit card and bank accounts.
