Babies can usually begin regulating their own body temperature at around 12 to 13 months of age.

However a baby may not be able to fully regulate their body temperature until around 18 months of age.

Babies that are ages 12 to 18 months of age are more sensitive to temperature changes than kids, teens and adults so while you may be warm the baby may be cold and when you're cold the baby may be hot.

Dress your baby warmly in the winter but don't dress them too warm because they can get too hot.

For babies under 18 months of age in the winter to keep them warm you can place your baby in blanket sleepers which is basically just a footed pajama that is made of blanket material.

I've dressed my babies in those blanket sleepers when they were babies and my mom dressed me and my brother in those blanket sleepers.

They keep the baby warm when they cannot have blankets.

I wish I could get myself one of those blanket sleepers for winter because they would be really warm especially when going about doing things in the house.
