I also agree that diapers are easier to deal with than potty training a child.
However as much as I wanted to just keep my kids in diapers and not potty train them because of the work I knew that they had to start using the toilet eventually.
I mean they could not be starting kindergarten wearing diapers unless they had health issues.
Also kids would tease them for wearing diapers.
I've babysat an 8 year old boy before that was autistic and could not be toilet trained at the time and he wore Pampers diapers.
It was really not that bad to change him and he actually never fought me on changing his diapers.
So as long as the child cooperated with the diaper change it would not matter to me how old they were and I would've gladly changed my kids diapers as well even if they were above 2 years old and even at 6, 7 and 8 years of age.
Diapers are indeed better than toilet training because all you have to do is remove the old diaper at a set time and then clean them up and put a fresh diaper on.
With toilet training you have to constantly remind them to use the toilet and take them to the toilet.
Or in public you have to rush them to a toilet when they need to poop or pee.
But if the child was still in diapers then they could just pee or poop wherever they were and then I could go on with whatever I was doing such as shopping etc and then change them when I was ready.
But kids do need the toilet training and it's nice to not have to change diapers or have extra diapers with you.
