Yes it's harder to run in the cold weather than it is to run in the warmer weather.

The reason it's harder to run in cold weather is the cold weather makes it hard to breathe especially if the cold weather is below freezing.

During really cold weather it becomes harder to breathe especially when you're working your body hard by running.

You get exhausted more easily and get out of breathe more easily as well when it's cold.

When it's warmer weather you can breathe easier and have more energy so you can run faster and easier without much strain.

Also another reason it's harder to run in cold weather is during the cold weather, your heart rate and the bodies dehydration levels are lower.

Running in cold weather is not hard, especially after you run for a few minutes to warm up. The main problem is avoiding slipping on the ice, but that can be avoided by using hex head screws on the bottom of the shoe. Running in the heat is a different matter. I hated running in the heat! But if you are so interested in the topic of running , you can read a lot of useful information on innovativerunners. Here you will find dozens of useful articles about the sport of running.
