The average lifespan for pitbulls is between the ages of 8 to 15 years.

A Pitbulls lifespan is pretty short and also depends on the breed of the Pitbull dog.

However most Pitbulls do not make it to longer than 8 to 12 years however some if they are lucky will make it to as long as 15 years.

But some dogs including Pitbulls may get illnesses and things such as kidney disease etc that can shorten the pitbulls lifespan.

If you exercise your pitbull often and feed them properly and get them regular vet checkups the pitbull dog may live up to 15 years.

Some dogs might exceed their lifespan as well so be prepared to have a pitbull or any dog for between 8 to 15 years and smaller dogs may live as long as 20 years.
