I don't miss being a kid?

I've heard some people say to kids that they should enjoy it because the kid years are the best years of their lives?

I honestly hated being a kid and a toddler and could not wait for it to be over.

I would not want to go back to being a kid if it were possible and being a kid was not the best years of my life.

My parents were good to me and I had a pretty good childhood but being a kid sucks because you're told what to do, when to go to bed, what to wear, what to eat, when to be inside the house, have to have permission to go somewhere etc.

Also being dragged along to family reunions or just to other family to see them even when you hated them.

Sure being an adult can suck sometimes as well but I much prefer being an adult and I think the child years last too long.

I was always wishing the kid years for me would be over and I'm glad the kid years are over.

Count me in as well.

Being a kid was sometimes good but mostly bad.

I hated being controlled as a kid and having to do what I was told as well.

Sure being a kid is fun but there's more downsides to being a kid than there is to being an adult.

I like driving, going wherever I want and not having to listen to my parents or go to school.

I was one of those kids at age 7 years old and above that faked being sick half the time so I could stay home from school.

Going to school sucks big time and I hated it.

I would not be a kid if I was paid all the money in the world and it was possible.

The kid years really are mostly only fun for the parents.

But for most kids I'm sure they wish it was over soon.

I even hated my baby pictures and little kid pictures that I burned them up.

My parents of course still have some but I don't want to look at them.
