Nose bleeds can be caused by a number of things.

But a few that come to mind are dry air and high blood pressure.

When the air is dry it's possible to have ruptured blood vessels in your nose. The blood vessels in our noses are really small and prone to rupture.

High blood pressure can also cause the blood vessels in our nose to rupture just high water pressure can rupture a hose.
