A baby can usually sleep alone in their own room by the time they are 6 months of age.

However it's best to keep your baby in your room until they are at least 1 year old or above.

Babies are sleep the safest when they sleep in the same room as their parents.

The main reason you want to keep the baby in your room until they are at least 1 year old or above is so that you can be close to them in case they need you.

During the first 6 months of the babies life you'll be woken up in the middle of the night to feed the baby, change the babies diaper, and calm them down.

Babies will cry in the middle of the night for at least the first 6 months of their lives.

It's best to be right there so that you can take care of them without having to go to another room.

I would always wait until the baby is at least 14 months to 15 months of age to move the baby into their own room.
