If you put new brake pads on the vehicle with bad brake rotors then your new brake pads may wear out faster and more unevenly.

If the brake rotors are warped or have grooves in the brake rotors then your brake pads will wear out unevenly and the grooves in the brake rotors can cause grooves to be shaved out of the brake pads.

You also don't get as good stopping power with the bad brake rotors and new brake pads.

If your brake rotors are actually bad or warped or grooved then you should replace the brake rotors at the same time.

You can buy new brake rotors online for your vehicle through ebay for really cheap.

For a car I have I bought two new brake rotors that included the brake pads for $80.00 with the shipping so at that price it was better to replace the brake rotors along with the brake pads.
