The age at which age spots or sunspots usually appear is at least by age 50 years old.

Some adults may not get age spots or sunspots until after age 50 years old.

But even sometimes some younger people younger than 50 years old may get age spots or sunspots.

I got some sunspots when I was 40 years old but my mom didn't get sunspots or age spots until she was 55 years old so it can vary from person to person.

Sunspots are also known as age spots, liver spots and solar lentigines.

If you want to get rid of age spots or sunspots you should go to the doctor to get a prescription cream to get rid of the sunspots.

Your doctor can give you a prescription bleaching cream (hydroquinone)  that you can use alone or with retinoids (tretinoin) and a mild steroid.

You can also get rid of sunspots through use of Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels and Dermabrasion.
