You can drive with bad sway bar links as long as you stay off the interstate and main highways.

Driving with a bad sway bar is okay as long as you're careful in how you drive and don't drive too fast.

The sway bar is there to stabilize your vehicle and helps prevent your car from rolling over.

The sway bar or stabilizer bars job is to prevent your car from rolling over especially on sharp turns or when going around a curve.

So if you're going down the highway and there's a sharp curve then be very careful when going around those curves when you don't have the sway bar working properly.

When your car goes around a turn or curve your cars body rolls to one side, or its weight shifts to one side.

The sway bar stabilizes the vehicle to help prevent the car from rolling over.

if your sway bar links are bad you should really get them replaced for safety reasons.
