Some plants are immortal and have the potential to live forever or at least for 1000 years or more.

Plants usually have a much longer lifespan than animals and humans and some plants can live 200 years to as long as 5000 years.

For example some trees can live up to 5000 years and sometimes longer before they eventually die.

Some other types of trees can only live for 25 years or 50 years which is less than a human.

But most trees live longer than humans and there have been some trees shown to be 500 years old and some trees that have been estimated to have been around for 5000 years.

Trees are one of the most longest living plants when it comes to plants being immortal.

There's no way to know for sure if all plants are immortal or some plants are immortal because the plants could eventually die even if it takes 1 million years.

But plants can live a long time provided that the plant has plenty of sunlight, water and is taken care of properly.
