Dying from a panic attack is possible but dying from a panic attack is very rare.

The panic attack itself does not kill you but if you have a panic attack then it may cause heart issues and then lead to a heart attack and the heart attack from the panic attack would be what would kill you.

When you have a panic attack you may sometimes feel like you are having a heart attack and you may feel chest pain and tightness and if you do feel any chest pain or tightness you should go to the ER or urgent care center for treatment just to be safe.

If you're having a panic attack and feel like you're having a heart attack and are experiencing chest pain or tightness in your chest then yes you should go to the ER to get checked out.

Most panic attacks do not cause heart attacks or anything else serious however some people who do have panic attacks may also experience heart attacks and other health issues.

So if it's your first time having a panic attack and you're experiencing heart attack symptoms get to the ER just to be safe.

The ER will check your heart out and help ease your panic attack.

Heart palpitations can be an emergency and require a visit to the emergency room.

If the heart palpitations are accompanied by shortness of breath, chest pain, chest discomfort and even fainting then the heart palpitations are an emergency and you should call 911 or get to the emergency room.

Some cases of heart palpitations however are nothing to worry about and will sometimes go away on their own.

Heart palpitations can be brought on by panic attacks, anxiety, fear, stress etc.

However if you continue to have heart palpitations you should see a doctor or go to the emergency room for treatment.

Heart palpitations can sometimes lead to a heart attack so always get checked out just in case.

Heart palpitations can sometimes do damage to your heart as well.

In most cases though heart palpitations are nothing to worry about but it's still best to see a doctor about the heart palpitations just to be safe.
