After feeding your baby you should always burp the baby to make sure the baby has no gas buildup in it's stomach.
Even if the baby doesn't burp any gas it's still a good idea to burp a baby after every feeding.
It's okay though if the baby doesn't actually burp any gas up when you do burp the baby and it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the baby.
Some babies may not have gas buildup in their stomach all the time when feeding and that is okay.
But always burp the baby to be sure the baby has no gas buildup trapped in it's stomach.
Then after feeding the baby make sure to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes before laying the baby down for a nap or just to lay the baby down.
Keep the baby upright by holding them or place them in a baby chair that holds them up without assistance for at least 20 minutes before laying the baby down.
Even after burping your baby might still spit up some which is okay.
