Having low iron can cause headaches.

When your body is low on iron levels which is also known as Anemia it can cause you to experience headaches.

Low iron levels causes your brain to receive less oxygen than it needs to function optimally, leading to the headaches.

So if you suddenly start having headaches with no other known cause then you should see a doctor and get the headache checked out.

Your doctor can do a blood test to check for low iron levels and if you're low on iron they can increase your iron levels and prescribe you some medicine to help increase your iron levels as well.

In some rare cases headaches can be caused by brain tumors or brain cancer coming on.

But most cases of headaches are nothing to worry about but having low iron can be a cause of headaches.

If you're low on iron and get headaches then you need to increase your iron levels.

You can take iron supplements to increase your iron levels too.
