The way serotonin works in the brain is that serotonin is a neurotransmitter.

The serotonin which is a neurotransmitter works in the brain by relaying signals between the brains nerve cells or neurons.

This in turn regulates the nerve cells intensity in the brain.

Serotonin plays a very good key role in the central nervous system and in the general functioning of the body, and especially the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

Your body naturally produces serotonin but sometimes some peoples bodies may not produce enough serotonin and so they may need to take serotonin supplements to increase the serotonin levels in their body.

Low serotonin levels can cause irritability, low self esteem, poor appetite and also poor memory.
