When a car is losing power when accelerating the loss of power while accelerating can be caused by a number of different things.

If you have a loss of power while accelerating the cause could be a clogged fuel filter, low fuel pressure, bad fuel pump, bad ignition coils, bad ignition coil, bad fuel injectors or even a clogged fuel injector.

Your air filter may also be clogged causing a loss of power while accelerating.

If the engine is misfiring it could be a bad ignition coil or even bad spark plugs or your fuel injectors could be clogged.

A loss of engine power when accelerating may also be caused by a vacuum leak through a bad vacuum hose or even a vacuum hose that came loose.

I would recommend hooking up an OBD tester to the cars computer which you can do so under the dash there should be an OBD plug under the dash on the drivers side and you can buy a cheap OBD tester and see what is going on.

You can also pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner into the fuel tank to help clean clogged fuel injectors and see if that helps it.

If not then your fuel filter may need replaced.
