No Medicare does not cover the cost of any hearing aids or hearing exams.

If all you have is medicare then you will have to pay for the hearing aids out of your pocket 100 percent as well as the hearing exams.

If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield they will usually pay for the hearing aids up to $2,500.00

Also check with other health insurance as some other health insurance plans will pay for hearing aids if medically required.

You may have to pay a copay but they should cover most of the hearing aid cost.

Blue Cross Blue Shield will pay for most hearing aids that are deemed medically necessary by your doctor.

Blue Cross Blue Shield will pay for hearing aids that cost up to $2,500.00

The Blue Cross Blue Shield plan will pay for hearing aids up to $2,500.00 every 3 years or more.

So if you need to replace your hearing aids with new ones every 3 years or longer then Blue Cross Blue Shield will pay for the cost.

But if you need hearing aids sooner than 3 years then you will likely need to pay for them out of pocket.

Some other private health insurance plans might also pay for the hearing aids even if they cost more than $2,500.00 but you have to check with the individual health insurance company and plans.
