Most cases of confusional arousal are not dangerous.

The confusional arousal is a sleep disorder that causes you to act in a very strange and confused way as you wake up or just after waking and when that happens it may appear that you don't know where you are or what you are doing.

In very rare cases the confusional arousal may cause you to do things that can cause injury or other accidents which could harm you or the person who does have the confusional arousal.

But rarely does the confusional arousal cause any harm to a person who has it.

The confusional arousal in children can seem pretty bizarre and even maybe frightening to the parents or siblings but it really is not all that bad as it seems.
