On the UPS tracking information when UPS says destination scan on your package it means that the package has reached it's final destination distribution facility.

When your package has a destination scan it means it's at the last sorting facility and will then be put on the delivery truck to be delivered to your home or address.

So if you see destination scan then an hour or so later the tracking should update to say out for delivery today.

When the package gets a destination scan then it will be loaded up onto the delivery truck and be delivered to your home or business address that day.

So it's good news when you see a destination scan as it means you'll get your package that day.

The UPS destination scan means that the package is at it's final destination sorting facility.

That also means that when the package has a destination scan that it should be out on the UPS truck for delivery that day.

Usually when my packages that come through UPS say destination scan it usually updates either the same day or at least the next day to say out for delivery.
