Having bigger pipes will not increase water pressure.

You will be able to get more water through a larger and bigger water pipe than a smaller water pipe.

But when you install bigger water pipes there is less resistance in the larger water pipe which cause the water pressure to actually decrease.

Smaller water pipes will allow you to have more water pressure than larger water pipes.

But the water pressure is not directly related to the size of your water pipes.

If you live closer to a water tower you should have more water pressure than someone who lives farther away from a water tower.

Or if you're on a water well then your pressure tank and water pump affects your water pressure and not your pipes.

So if you install larger water pipes then you'll lose water pressure.
