The reason FedEx SmartPost is really slow is because it's the cheapest shipping option for most sellers and shippers of products you buy.
FedEx SmartPost goes through several FedEx locations and then eventually goes to your USPS sorting facility where it then gets delivered eventually to your post office box or address through USPS.
The FedEx SmartPost can sometimes take as long as 14 days to get the package from the time it is shipped and I hate ordering things that come through FedEx SmartPost.
If it's something I can wait for then I don't care as much how it's shipped but if I need something soon then I will not order something if it comes through FedEx SmartPost.
Regular mail takes around 3 to 4 days to get a package or even regular FedEx deliveries or UPS deliveries.
I hate FedEx SmartPost and it should be called FedEx Slow Post.
