Will a pellet stove work without electricity?

In the event of a power outage due to an ice storm or other storm in the winter will a pellet stove still be able to heat the house?

Pellet stoves will not work without electricity. The pellet stove needs electricity to power the auger that feeds the burner with pellets.

So in the event of a power outage you won't be able to operate the pellet stove unless you can connect it to a generator.
