Yes when you sleep you do lose some weight while you sleep.

However the weight you actually lose when you sleep is only water weight and so the weight loss from sleeping is only temporary and only a little amount of weight that it's hardly noticeable or may not even be noticeable at all.

Some weight loss diet plans say that you lose weight when you sleep which is somewhat true as you do lose some temporary water weight but you don't lose the actual weigh by burning fat while you sleep.

To lose weight you need to burn off fat and calories by exercising, eating healthy and watching your calorie intake.

Doing some Intermittent Fasting can also help you lose weight and even eating cabbage soup.
