Yes as you age your jaw does get wider and larger.

Your entire facial skeleton grows and gets larger and changes shape as you age but your jaw gets wider and larger at a much faster rate than the rest of your face does.

The face changes a lot more from birth until age 18 to 21 and then the rate the face changes shape and size slows down but your face is still changing shape slowly overtime.

The age at which most people begin looking old is around 35 years old and beyond.

Some people may start looking older and old sooner than 35 years of age if they are constantly stressed out.

Being stressed out constantly can cause you to look old and cause other health problems.

But some people look younger than they are but you should expect to start looking older or old by the time you turn 35 to 40 years old.

No it's not always bad to look older than your age.

Just like it's not always bad to look younger than your age.

Some people look much younger than there actual age which could be bad when they are trying to buy adult things and need to be over 18 or 21 to buy those things.

When I was younger and was 21 I actually looked more like 15 years old than I did 21 and so I got my ID checked often when buying beer or any adult movies.

Now I look a bit older than my age and although I'm only 32 years old some people think I'm 42 and someone else thought I was actually 50 years old.

Some people who are in poor health may look older than there actual age and that could be a bad thing so for some people who do actually look older than 10 years older than there age could have some health conditions but not always.
