There are around 50 to 100 pandas that die each year from being killed by Poachers and there could be a few more that die of natural causes.
The panda bear is becoming extinct as there are not very many panda bears left in the world.
If more pandas get killed each year and they do not reproduce enough then eventually and likely within the next 25 to 30 years the Panda Bear may become extinct.
As of now there are only 1,864 pandas alive and living in the wild and about 400 more live panda bears in captivity.
So as long as we do not kill anymore pandas and they reproduce more pandas then they will not become extinct.
Panda bears are very cute especially when they are babies and I hope they last a long time.
