Yes you can use Liquid Plumber or even Drano in the shower.

If you have a walk in shower and there's some standing water in the shower then you should try to remove the standing water if possible.

If you have a Wet Dry Shop Vac you can suck the water out of the shower with the Vacuum.

The same goes for a bathtub if there's standing water use a bucket to remove most of the water and then get the rest of the water out of the tub with a shop vac if you have one.

Then pour the Liquid Plumber or Drano into the shower or tub drain and allow it to sit for 30 minutes to an hour or longer.

The length of time you need to allow liquid plumber or Drano to sit depends on how severe the clog is.

So you may need to allow the Drano or Liquid Plumber to sit overnight in some cases.

But if that doesn't work then the clog could be further down the line and you may need to snake the line or cut the pipe ot remove the clog.

Don't know, personally I prefer traditional and the most rational approach. Which is that you try to save your drain from litter and if it gets clogged you just call Handy Kith and ask a human handyman to come to your house and clean it. Those chemicals I think are for easier cases, and more of advertisement nature of course. You can't use them all the time. Plus those handymen can perhaps consult you about how to use your sewerage without trouble.
