Betadine can help with deep cuts or wounds but if the would or cut is too deep then you should see a doctor or go to the emergency room for treatment of the cut.

Smaller deep cuts can usually be treated at home and the use of Betadine is pretty good for treating deep cuts and killing the bacteria in the cut or wound.

But make sure you get the bleeding stopped and then clean the wound or cut and then add the Betadine to prevent the infection from bacteria.

You can also apply some hydrogen peroxide to help prevent infection and help the deep cut or would heal.

As long as the bleeding is stopped then the deep cut or wound can usually heal within a week or two.

Once a scab starts forming over the cut or wound then it's a good sign the wound is healing.
