It's recommended to have your fuel system and fuel injectors cleaned every 10 years or every 50,000 to 100,000 miles.

You can also keep your fuel system cleaned by adding a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to your gas tank every 2 gasoline fill ups.

That will keep your fuel system clean and help keep your engine running properly.

If you notice an engine misfire, engine bogging down, loss of engine power etc then your fuel injectors may be dirty and need cleaned.

A fuel system cleaning or fuel injector cleaning costs around $150.00 to $200.00 and sometimes as low as $50.00 to $80.00 depending on where you have the fuel system cleaned.

If you trade in your vehicle every 10 years or sooner then you usually do not need a fuel system cleaning done.
