Is it normal to get the flu more than once in a year?

I've gotten the flu already 4 times this year when I normally only come down with the flu once per year.

Now I think I'm coming down with the flu for the 5th time this year?

Is it normal to get the flu so much in one year?

It's normal to get the flu several times a year. There's many different flu types that go around.

It sucks but all we can do is ride the flu out.
