From the ground here on earth it would seem like it would be over 1,000 miles to 10,000 miles from earth to space.
But according to NASA the distance from earth to space is only about 62 miles in distance.
That's actually a pretty short trip when it comes to taking trips.
The rocket that launches the astronauts into space does it pretty quickly as well and that's a fast road trip.
I always dreamed of being an astronaut as a kid but now as an adult it doesn't seem so fun.
But maybe it would be.
