Is it wrong that I do not want to attend my parents funerals?

My parents are still both alive and I hope they are alive and well for a long time to come but for some reason I just broke down and cried and am still crying at the thought of losing my parents to death one day.

My mom is 60 years old and my dad is 70 already. Just the thought of losing them is awful. But I don't think I can even attend their funeral once they do pass on.

Is it wrong if I don't attend their funeral?

I went to my grandparents funeral but had to leave before it even began.

I love both my parents dearly right now but don't think I can face going to their funeral when the time comes.

No there's nothing wrong with not going to your parent funerals.

Funerals are really for the people still alive since the dead people won't know you're there in the first place so it won't make a difference whether you're there or not.

If you don't want to go to your parents or anybody else's funeral then it's really your choice.
