The difference between crucible tongs and beaker tongs is in what they are used for and how they are shaped.

The crucible tongs are basically large pincers that are made of welded steel that are used for grasping and removing a hot crucible from a fire or furnace.

Crucible tongs are used in safety labs for the above things and also for moving the crucibles from one location to another.

Beaker tongs are tongs that are also made of metal and are used to move beakers, evaporating dishes and flasks.

Then there are other tongs such as the Test Tube Tongs that are used for lifting, carrying and heating of the test tubes.

These tongs are used in labs such as science and testing labs.
