To get old food stains out of clothes you can apply some liquid laundry detergent or Dish soap to the food stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes.

Then take a toothbrush or scrub brush and scrub the food stain with some warm water.

Sometimes the stain will come out doing that.

If not then soak the clothing in some warm water and soap for a few hours and then try again.

You may also need to scrape the food stain with a butter knife or putty knife or even your fingernail.

Another way to get old food stains and some other old stains out of clothes is to use vinegar and saturate the stain with with vinegar, then rub the stain with a paste made from equal parts vinegar and baking soda.

You can also add a couple of tablespoons each of vinegar and laundry detergent to a bucket of water and soak the garment overnight.

Tide To Go can sometimes work on old food stains as well but mostly the Tide To Go works best on food stains that happened right then but it's also worth a try.
