Vinegar and laundry detergent can be added to the washing machine and used together but not at the same time.

If you mix the vinegar and laundry detergent together then your clothes can turn out oily.

Just add the laundry detergent normally and then if your washing machine has fabric softener dispenser put the vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser so that the vinegar gets released during the rinse cycle.

If your washing machine has no fabric softener dispenser then add the vinegar to the washing machine before the washing machine switches over to the rinse cycle.

The soap or laundry detergent needs to be removed from the clothes or other laundry first and then the vinegar can be used.

Just don't mix them together during the wash cycle because you can get oily clothes or oily laundry.
