Yes miniature schnauzers are an overall healthy dog breed and usually they do not suffer much health problems as long as you exercise them enough, feed them properly get vet checkups etc.

As long as you do all those things the miniature schnauzer is a healthy dog.

Although sometimes miniature schnauzers just like any other dog breed can suffer from health issues such as Urinary Stones, Liver Shunts, Cataracts, pancreatitis and also hyperlipidemia.

Also most schnauzers do get along good with other dogs.

The miniature schnauzer is one of the dog breeds that does get along good with other small dogs as well as some larger dogs.

Sometimes it can take awhile for a schnauzer or miniature schnauzer to get used to being around other dogs so if you do have other dogs and want to get a schnauzer or miniature schnauzer then just be aware that it might take a bit of time for them to get along.

Some of them get along right away and then some of them take a few months or so to get used to each other and then get along which each other.

My mom has a schnauzer and a larger dog and they both get along and play really good just fine although at first they fought.

It just takes some time and eventually they will get used to each other.
