Lupus has many symptoms but the first sign or symptom of Lupus disease is Fatigue.

If you're constantly feeling tired and fatigued all of a sudden then you may have Lupus and should be tested.

Other signs and symptoms of Lupus are Fever, Hair Loss, Rash, Kidney Inflammation, Painful Joints and Gastrointestinal problems.

A few other signs of Lupus are Anemia and sometimes pain in the chest as well as the other following symptoms which include anxiety, blood in urine, clinical depression, face rash, flare, headache, joint stiffness, raynaud's syndrome, sensitivity to light, swelling, water retention, or weight loss.

Lupus is not a contagious disease like many other diseases and so you cannot catch Lupus from someone else who has it.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease and the way that a person gets Lupus is when your bodies immune system attacks healthy tissue in your body.

According to research it appears that a person gets lupus when they have an inherited predisposition for the Lupus disease.

When that happens the person may develop the disease Lupus when they come into contact with something in the environment that can trigger the autoimmune attack.

If someone in your family such as your mom, dad or Grandma or Grandpa or even brother or sister has Lupus then you may be affected as well.
