The country of China is the largest producer of Sulfur in the world.
In the year of 2019 China's production of Sulfur was around 17.4 megatons of sulfur which makes China the largest producer of Sulfur in the world.
In the USA the USA produced 9.04 million metric tons of Sulfur which is quite a bit less than China.
So while the USA produces quite a bit of Sulfur each year they are still not the largest producer of Sulfur.
Instead China is currently the largest producer of Sulfur in the world but that could change years down the road.
But as of now China produces most of the Sulfur and probably will continue to produce the most Sulfur for at least the next 30 to 50 years.
But things could change in that time.
