Why do I have to hold down the flush handle on my toilet for it to flush all the way?

My toilet will not flush all the way unless I hold down the flush handle?

Your toilet may be getting some calcium buildup in the toilet bowl where you can't see it and it might be causing your toilet to flush slowly.
